Daily Kabbalah Tune Up
""Slice of Life"
One illusion in life that gets us into lots of trouble is the feeling that there isn't enough good stuff to go around. It's like watching your favorite dessert being sliced before your eyes and everyone reaching in for a big, thick piece, and it's still nowhere near your turn. You start thinking you're going to be left out, so you quickly come up with strategies to make sure you definitely get your share. Most of our daily thoughts involve keeping someone else from getting theirs. Now imagine the relief you'd feel if the waiter walked out of the kitchen carrying two more trays of dessert, fresh out of the oven, and announced that there were several more baking. You'd realize then that there was more than enough for everybody. And you'd realize that there was no need to expend all that energy on stressing over your slice, the size of it, the quality, the order in which you received it. You could have relaxed and just enjoyed yourself the whole time.Keep working, moving forward, sharing and caring about the people who cross your path. You'll get your slice in due time. The harder you work for it, the tastier it'll be."

Daily Kabbalah Tune Up
""I Hate You"
I hate you. How many times during the day does that thought pop into your mind? How many times does it spill out of your mouth? How many? If I tell you it's not nice to hate, will you stop? I don't think so. If I tell you, hatred brings chaos into your life, now will you change? "Turmoil is a sign of hatred"- Rav Nachman of Breslov. Every time you are hating someone [even for no reason, which is the case most of the time] you are inviting a little more chaos into your life. With that in mind, I've only one guiding questions for you today. Where's the love?"

Agenda-less Spirituality
It's easy to be spiritual when we are lacking. But it's not so easy to maintain the flame once we've been satiated.I have people coming to me all the time who are desperate to fix their difficulties. But they don't have the same intensity of desire once they get what they want. As soon as the relationship is better, the money is back in the bank, or the health is restored, they're not as willing to do whatever it takes to connect. I am guilty of this as well.Drawing energy and maintaining an awareness of the Light is more important after we get what we want because it's without agenda. It's a higher level of spiritual connection.Recall a major prayer that was answered. Do you remember the intense desire you had prior to getting what you wanted? Allow it to resurface today and by doing so, you will receive even more fulfillment in that area.

"Figure It Out"
Over the years, students come to me with their dilemmas, wanting to know what I think? Many times, I've answer, 'I don't have an opinion', 'What do you think?"'You don't have an opinion?''Of course I do. The Gemini in me has loads of opinions. But my opinions are not as important as your own.We all get in the habit of running to our teachers, doctors, lawyers, parents, etc. for help, and it sucks our energy. We don't need to be running to people every time we have a question. The Rav always taught me that asking questions and engaging life is how we connect. Knowledge is everything. Pursuing questions and figuring things out is how we connect our 1 percent lives to the 99 percent. Consciousness is the bridge. When we sacrifice our free will for the sake of listening to others, we are severing our link to the spiritual side of life.
Today, I'm not telling you what I think you need to do. You figure it out.
